we're looking to hire a part-time Cleaning Operative to attend domestic cleaning jobs in the areas of Glossop, New Mills and Marple Bridge. Our focus is to find amazing staff who value their work and want to make a real difference.

The Role:
As a Cleaning Operative, you will be visiting our clients on a regular basis (weekly, fortnightly and monthly bookings) to carry out standard domestic cleaning duties. These mostly include dusting, sanitising and cleaning surfaces, vacuuming and mopping. There may be times when scrubbing is required for those tougher tasks! We also do occasional deep cleans which you may be asked to help with.
Your role will primarily cover the area of Glossop, Hayfield, New Mills and Marple Bridge, so travel between those places may be required on the same day. We will do our best to keep scheduling as efficient as possible to minimise travel time between jobs. Other work may be required in surrounding areas, including but not limited to Marple, Chinley and Chapel-en-le Frith.
You are probably aware this is quite a physical role, so a good level of health and fitness is required not only to complete the cleans in time, but also for your personal safety and well-being.
All training, cleaning equipment and supplies will be provided by us.

Real Living Wage at 12.60 per hour (Raising to 13.45 from May 2026).

Essential Requirements:
You must be able to drive and have a car.
You will have a satisfactory DBS check paid for by us.
You can easily drive to Glossop, Hayfield, New Mills and Marple Bridge
