HTS (Property & Environment) Limited provides Housing Repairs & Maintenance and Environmental Services for the residents of Harlow. Working in the Mobile Cleaning & Caretaking Section you will provide a quality heavy clearance service on behalf of Housing Services and Harlow Council.

Responsibilities

This will entail heavy lifting, organising and disposal of items in the correct way, leaving the property empty and ready for re-letting, and caretaking service to customers and clients within flats and tower blocks. You will be required to clear void properties, garages, sheds and gardens. You will ensure that communal areas i.e. footpaths, forecourts, garage areas, communal rooms etc. are in clean, tidy and safe condition for tenants. It is essential that you have cleaning experience, along with the knowledge of health and safety as you will be required to clean methodically and safely, using appropriate equipment and materials. You will report any instances of near misses and accidents, or any problems raised by tenants, also having awareness and understanding of COSHH is essential.

Basic literacy & numeracy skills Basic cleaning experience Basic knowledge and understanding of health & safety Understands the importance of the service quality provided to customers/clients Have an awareness and understanding of Equality and Diversity Have good written and verbal communication skills Be polite, courteous, tactful conscientious & flexible Can use own initiative Able to work independently and as part of a team To play a fundamental part in the Heavy Clearance Team supporting managers and clients in providing a complete and responsive clearance service which complies with best value criteria Full UK valid driving licence Able to work out in all weathers
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,001.75-29,235.66 per year
