Job Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, working at a busy dental practice in Kirkby. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that the premises are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control -- essential in a clinical healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out daily cleaning duties in surgeries, reception areas, waiting rooms, staff areas, and toilets. Follow specific hygiene protocols and cleaning schedules suitable for a healthcare setting. Safely use cleaning agents and equipment in line with health and safety regulations. Ensure all high-touch and clinical areas are thoroughly sanitised. Report any maintenance issues, stock shortages, or safety concerns promptly. Maintain clear communication with dental practice staff and site supervisors.

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience in a dental or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential. Strong awareness of hygiene, infection control, and cleanliness standards. Good communication skills and proficiency in English. Ability to work independently and follow site-specific instructions. Reliable, punctual, and professional.
