, a leading UK manufacturer of surgical devices, is seeking 2 dependable and detail-oriented

Cleaning Operatives

to join our team at our facility in Leeds working 30 hours per week Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 2.30pm, Friday 8.00 - 2.00pm.

In this essential role, you will help ensure our clinical and production environments remain hygienic, safe, and compliant with health and safety, and industry regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and maintaining floors Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across our manufacturing facility Clean production areas and equipment as required (e.g., ovens) Replenish supplies such as paper towels and toilet tissue Follow and maintain cleaning schedules and complete relevant documentation Operate cleaning equipment safely and in line with COSHH regulations Conduct weekly pest control checks and report any maintenance issues Maintain a tidy, secure, and well-organised work environment Dispose of waste safely following the company guidelines and environmental regulations

What We're Looking For

A reliable team player with a flexible and proactive approach Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established protocols Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks Previous experience in a cleaning role (especially in clinical or production settings) is an advantage Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Basic understanding of health, safety and hygiene
