Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team 2 to 3 days per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. Prior experience is not essential, as training will be provided, but a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential. Please note: Working hours are between 8.00am & 7.30pm Mon-Fri with no weekend work or Bank Holiday work. This position is based in the Lichfield area

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately where required Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment Respond promptly to specific cleaning requests from management or clients Ensure all areas are left tidy and presentable after cleaning duties are completed

Skills

Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional attitude Reliable driving skills are desirable for roles requiring travel between sites Excellent communication skills in English, to coordinate effectively with colleagues and clients Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
