We are now seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Ulster University, Jordanstown.

Job Overview

As a Cleaning Operative, you will play an essential role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment across student and staff facilities. You will work to a consistent weekly schedule, Monday to Thursday, ensuring that all areas meet the standards expected by both the university and Prime Cleaning Solutions Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

Clean student accommodation, classrooms, and communal spaces to a high standard Sanitise kitchens, bathrooms, and shared facilities Replenish essential supplies in communal areas (e.g. soap, toilet paper) Safely dispose of waste and follow recycling procedures Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to the supervisor Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly used, maintained, and stored Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies

What We're Looking For

Previous cleaning experience (1 year preferred, but training provided) Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively Good communication skills in English Reliability, punctuality, and a positive work attitude Driving licence desirable but not essential
Job Types: Zero hours contract, Part-time

Pay: From 12.61 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week
