Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services.

Shift

Monday -Thursday: 5 am - 8 am

Friday: 5 am- 9 am

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces to meet health and safety standards Dispose of waste appropriately and replenish supplies as needed Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is in good working condition Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes

Skills

Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting issues Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is a plus, but not required; full training will be provided Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous
