We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Cleaning Operative to join our cleaning and hygiene team within a busy manufacturing environment. This role will involve maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic workspace across production areas, staff facilities, and communal spaces.

Working Pattern & Pay:

Hours:

7pm to 3:30am Monday to Thursday, and 7pm to 11pm on Fridays

Duties:

Carry out scheduled and deep cleaning tasks across production & break areas. Clean machinery, equipment, floors, walls, and surfaces according to set protocols. Ensure all cleaning activities meet internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements. Use appropriate chemicals and cleaning materials safely and effectively. Complete cleaning records accurately and on time. Handle and store cleaning equipment and chemicals safely. Work closely with production teams to avoid disruption. Report maintenance issues, hazards, or breaches of hygiene procedures. Adhere to company Health & Safety, COSHH, and PPE requirements always.

Requirements:

Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures. Awareness of hygiene, health & safety requirements. Good attention to detail. Comfortable working in physically demanding roles (standing for long periods, lifting, bending, etc.). Previous cleaning experience within a manufacturing or food production environment would be an advantage.
