We are currently looking for

8

warehouse operatives to join our team in Northampton NN4. This will be on a full time, permanent basis.

Site Address

Unit A Unit 1 Saxon Avenue, Grange Park, NN45EL (GXO site)

The role

You will provide great service to our clients by ensuring that standards are maintained through adherence to the cleaning schedule for the site. You will have high standards of cleanliness naturally and take pride in the work that you do.

Hours:

Monday-Friday 0600-1400 (4 operatives)

Monday- Friday 1400-2200 (4 operatives)

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Adhere to all ISM and client health and safety rules and requirements

Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed

Sweeping floor surfaces

Box cutting

Waste management

Bailing

Report anything in need of repair or replacement

Keep designated cleaning areas and spaces clean and tidy at all times and store all cleaning materials safely

Use a variety of manual cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Complete a schedule of cleaning tasks and record all tasks as required

Maintain good relations with client staff, contractors, and visitors to the site

May be asked to carry out other tasks as may be required by the Area Manager to fulfill client or ISM requirements

Skills

Work on their own initiative and organize their own time as they will be managed remotely

Ability to work flexibly as part of a team

React to feedback appropriately to provide great service to customers

Good attention to detail to deliver high standards

Good written and verbal communication skills are essential to communicate with customers and managers and comply with Health & Safety regulations

Experience

Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential

The ability to learn, and the capability to develop skills further
