The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a Cleaning Operatives based at our clients site in Newark. Our shift patterns works on a 5 week rotation. The weekly schedule of days is set out below:

Week 1 Monday-Thursday, Friday off. Work Saturday

Week 2, Monday - Friday

Week 3, Monday - Friday

Week 4, Monday - Friday

Week 5, Monday-Wednesday, Thursday off. Work Sunday.

The main purpose of the job is to work as part of a team or individually to carry out machine and manual cleaning of warehouses and site facilities.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe working environment Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed Carry out daily and weekly waste removal and recycling tasks as required Recycling and disposal of all waste packaging Use cleaning machines Use of a variety of cleaning equipment and products Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces Cleaning of toilets and communal areas Dusting offices and meeting rooms Vaccuming Report anything in need of repair or replacement Keep designated cleaning areas and spaces clean and tidy at all times and store all cleaning materials safely

Pay: 12.37 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
