The successful candidate will have experience of undertaking similar work in an office/manufacturing environment.
You will need knowledge of Health and Safety standards and COSHH Regulations
The main duties of the role are:
Maintain the cleanliness of the offices, workshop, kitchens, canteen, washrooms and communal areas
Undertake sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and the cleaning of surfaces
Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)
Maintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessary
Emptying bins and disposing of rubbish/recycling in the correct manner
Carrying out minor maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats, unclogging sinks
Use all cleaning products in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and COSHH regulations
Be aware of Health and Safety legislation in relation to self and others
To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to communicate clearly and follow instructions. You will be organised with a methodical approach to work.
You will have the ability to work using your own initiative and have a positive outlook and 'can do' approach to tasks. The ability to meet the physical demands of the job is essential.
