The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative based at our clients site in Wellingborough.

The working hours: 37.5 hours per week, five days out of seven.

Shift patterns include:

Week 1:

Sunday-Off

Monday- Off

Tuesday-Saturday 1400-2200

Week 2:

Sunday-Monday 1400-2200

Tuesday- Off

Wednesday- 1400-2200

Thursday Off

Friday-Saturday 1400-2200

The main purpose of the job is to work as part of a team or individually to carry out machine and manual cleaning of warehouses and stie facilities.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe working environment Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed Carry out daily and weekly waste removal and recycling tasks as required Recycling and disposal of all waste packaging Use cleaning machines Use of a variety of cleaning equipment and products Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces Cleaning of toilets and communal areas Dusting offices and meeting rooms Vaccuming Report anything in need of repair or replacement Keep designated cleaning areas and spaces clean and tidy at all times and store all cleaning materials safely
