Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at Richmond Shopping Centre in Derry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the shopping centre, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces. Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise surfaces to maintain a clean environment. Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services. Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to deliver consistent results. Drive to various locations as required for cleaning assignments.

Qualifications

Proficiency in English to communicate clearly with clients and team members. Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
