About The Role

Frontier is seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Operative with a valid SIA Licence to join our team at Woolshops Shopping Centre in Halifax. This is a permanent part-time position involving a blend of security, cleaning, and general maintenance responsibilities within a busy retail environment.

This role requires a high level of physical fitness due to regular patrolling and walking throughout the site.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service to shoppers, staff, and visitors Perform internal and external cleaning tasks Carry out basic maintenance and site upkeep duties Operate within the CCTV control room (if licensed) Ensure a safe and secure environment through active patrolling and monitoring Liaise professionally with Centre Management Manage front desk reception duties, including meeting and greeting visitors Monitor access and egress, particularly in relation to car park operations Maintain awareness of Health & Safety standards and ensure compliance Write clear and accurate incident and shift reports Work outdoors in varying weather conditions as required

Requirements

Essential:

Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervision or Security Guarding - Frontline) Valid First Aid qualification Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good physical fitness and ability to work on foot for extended periods Strong observational and situational awareness skills Professional attitude and punctuality Ability to work independently and think proactively A fully checkable 5-year employment or education history

Preferred:

SIA CCTV Licence Previous experience in customer service and/or security (minimum 1 year) Experience working within a shopping centre or similar public environment
