Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas meet high standards of hygiene and presentation. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Supervision of 3-4 cleaners on site.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in designated areas. Ensure all restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies. Oversee janitorial duties in commercial spaces, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Assist in training and supervising new cleaning staff, fostering a collaborative work environment. Conduct inspections of cleaned areas to ensure quality standards are met. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, requesting replenishments as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in cleaning roles is preferred; experience in commercial cleaning is a plus. Supervisory or management experience is highly desirable for candidates looking to take on leadership responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. 12.93 per hour, paid every 4 weeks via BACs. 12.5hrs permanent contract, overtime available.

4.30pm-7pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 3.30-6pm.
