About The Role:




Main Purpose:





To support the Area Supervisor and Soft services Team in the delivery of Cleaning services across client based offices/commercial buildings in Edinburgh.




Duties & Responsibilities:




Ensure Compliance through planned audits. Ensure all Compliance records are always up to date and available on each site to be viewed. Escalate any non-compliance issues to the Area Supervisor. Oversee all planned tasks and reactive works. Interact with client and building users as necessary. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across both buildings. Take ownership of cleaning materials and consumables. Support on site as and when required. Supervise the Cleaning team. Ensure the Cleaning team are competent and fully trained in all tasks. Work closely with the Area Supervisor and assist in allocation of tasks. Prioritise own and Cleaning Team workload. Delegate tasks to Cleaners where required. Use and plan your time to meet the requirements of daily and weekly workload and assist colleagues. Be prepared to complete any task requested of you, where required. Attend training as required.



Skills & Knowledge:





Previous experience in a supervisory or acting supervisory role, within Cleaning Supervisory and/or Facilities Management. An all-round Cleaning Supervisor, with the ability to complete minor works and reactive tasks. Excellent communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent Prioritisation and Multi-tasking skills. Capable of competently using the IT provided. Knowledge of H&S, desirable. Ability to prioritise work for self and others. Excellent organisation skills. Leadership and management skills. Ability to train and motivate others. A team player.

Work Pattern:


Monday-Friday 18:00-22:00 20 hours per week
