We are seeking a proactive and organised Cleaning Team Leader to oversee cleaning operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel on site as needed.
Duties
Lead and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
assign duties to team members
Conduct regular inspections of work areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
Provide training and guidance to new team members on cleaning procedures and health & safety protocols
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and address any concerns promptly
Maintain accurate records of work completed, supplies used
Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and used correctly
Foster a positive team environment through motivation and support
Requirements
Proven experience in cleaning or facilities management is desirable
Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to motivate a team
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Customer service orientation with the ability to build positive relationships with clients
Valid driving licence is preferred for driving around site
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Good understanding of health & safety regulations related to cleaning operations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 13.00 per hour
