Cleaning Team Leader Support - Evenings

We are currently recruiting a motivated, hands-on Cleaning Team Leader Support to join our cleaning and hygiene team within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a key role responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene across production areas, staff facilities, and communal spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of 4 cleaning operatives, ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard Deliver daily team briefings, allocate tasks, and provide on-the-job training Ensure cleaning activities meet site standards, hygiene requirements, and compliance protocols Carry out scheduled deep cleans in production areas and high-risk zones Monitor and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations Liaise with facilities and production teams to prioritise cleaning requirements Report equipment faults and manage cleaning stock levels Support the induction and ongoing development of team members Be responsible for locking the facility in the absence of the Team Leader

About You

Proven experience in a team leader or supervisory role within a manufacturing or similar environment Minimum of 1 year's experience managing a team of 4 or more Strong leadership, organisational, and motivational skills Good understanding of hygiene standards within a manufacturing setting Hands-on approach with a positive, can-do attitude Experience within a controlled or regulated environment is advantageous

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday:

7:00pm - 3:30am &

Fridays:

7:00pm - 11:00pm
