Are you looking for part time cleaning hours

(6 hours over Sat & Sunday, between 7am - 10am), in a new purpose built facility, with small friendly team.

We opened our doors on 2nd July 2022, and have an existing cleaning team who cover 7 days a week. We now need 2 new enthusiastic, professional cleaners to join our amazing team. Working early mornings on the weekends, this role might fit around existing job or family commitments. We can currently offer two 6 hour contracts.

Warrington Youth Zone is dedicated to young people and makes a bold statement about the importance of giving young people high quality places to go in their leisure time. Open 7 days a week including school holidays, the Youth Zone's purpose is to help young people grow to be happy, healthy and successful adults.

The Role

We are seeking committed and enthusiastic cleaners to join our Facilities Team and play a pivotal role in ensuring that Warrington Youth Zone's state-of-the-art facility is a safe, welcoming and clean environment for our members and visitors. We are looking for someone who is reliable, friendly and enjoys working as part of a team as well as on their own initiative to help contribute to the charity's ongoing success and ensure the young people of Warrington have somewhere safe to go, something positive to do and someone trusted to talk to.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To be responsible for cleaning areas of Warrington Youth Zone as allocated by the Cleaning Supervisor or other appropriate manager To perform various cleaning activities including cleaning toilets, sanitary fittings and surrounds; spot cleaning of spillages; wiping furniture, ledges, pipes, paintwork, doors and polishing door glass; emptying and cleaning bins; mopping and spray cleaning hard floor surfaces; floor polishing; wiping, polishing and straightening furniture; replenishing supplies in toilets; and moving items of furniture and equipment To operate cleaning machinery for cleaning soft and hard surfaces, such as vacuum cleaners and polishers To follow opening and closing procedures To report any emergency maintenance problems, including toilets and other water fixtures, or hazards immediately to the Business Support Officer. Comply with all policies and procedures, with particular reference to safeguarding, codes of conduct health and safety and equality and diversity to ensure all activities are accessible Represent Warrington Youth Zone positively and effectively in all dealings with internal colleagues, and external partners Any other duties as may be reasonably be required
