Job Overview

As a Clean Line Operative at ATL Turbine Services, you will be responsible for preparing and processing gas turbine components through chemical and surface treatment activities, ensuring compliance with strict operational and quality standards. This hands-on role involves tasks such as grit blasting, vapour blasting, masking, and managing components through chemical cleaning stages, while maintaining accurate documentation and high housekeeping standards. You'll play a key part in supporting health and safety, continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with other departments to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

Prepare, monitor, and maintain chemical processes according to written instructions. Perform surface preparation and cleaning activities (grit blasting, vapour blasting, burnishing). Carry out masking activities (waxing, taping, polymer). Manage components through production stages and maintain accurate documentation. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies. Participate in daily equipment checks and housekeeping (5S). Support continuous improvement and assist in training team members.

Experience

Previous experience processing components through chemicals in a manufacturing environment. Experience working shift patterns. Strong attention to detail and health & safety awareness. Good interpersonal skills and a positive team player. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and willingness to learn. Ability to multitask and thrive during peak workload periods.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.75-14.13 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
