Responsibilities:



As a Client Delivery Analyst, you will:


Drive the onboarding of new clients efficiently, ensuring alignment with internal AML/CTF policies and procedures. Act as a subject matter expert on AML onboarding and share best practices across teams to support a consistent compliance culture. Perform full end-to-end onboarding for corporate entities, including customer due diligence, risk assessments, and account set-up. Accurately review and assess KYC documentation in line with risk appetite and regulatory requirements (JMLSG, 5MLD, PSD2, etc). Conduct PEP, sanctions, and adverse media screening using third-party tools, ensuring appropriate escalation and documentation of findings. Monitor and track onboarding progress through internal systems, proactively identifying and addressing bottlenecks or delays. Manage relationships with third-party vendors providing KYC, ID verification, and screening services. Undertake periodic reviews, trigger event reviews, and enhanced due diligence where applicable. Support ongoing enhancements of the AML and financial crime framework through feedback, testing, and implementation of procedural updates. Maintain accurate records and ensure audit readiness by logging all onboarding decisions, correspondence, and documents. Assist the compliance department with onboarding analysis, while preparing weekly, key performance indicators (KPIs), management information (MI) periodic reporting and statistics. Assist with drafting, maintaining, and enhancing onboarding policies, checklists, and SOPs in line with evolving regulatory requirements. Provide AML customer onboarding-related advice when working with a broad group of stakeholders within the business (Commercial, Banking, Operations and Technology teams) to ensure critical partners are aware of all potential financial crime risk exposure and considerations. Support the Head of Client Delivery in various tasks, including regulatory research, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting. Assist with audits preparation, and thematic reviews by providing requested onboarding documentation and commentary. Prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and escalate them to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) as needed. Stay current on relevant regulatory developments (e.g. FCA Handbook, Wire Transfer Regs, FATF recommendations) to ensure continued compliance.



Requirements:





Experience & Skills:


A minimum of 2 years' experience in a compliance, due diligence/onboarding role preferably within financial services. Solid understanding of onboarding corporate clients, including complex ownership and control structures. Hands-on experience conducting PEP, sanctions, and adverse media screening, with sound judgement in escalation. Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks related to AML, anti-bribery, corruption, and financial crime. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and propose effective mitigations. Strong Excel skills and confidence handling large datasets, trackers, and reporting dashboards (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, conditional logic). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Project management experience and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Professional certifications (e.g., ACAMS, ICA) are highly desirable.
