The role:



By understanding Hogarth's full breadth of services, the Client Director (CD) is client facing and accountable for ensuring the smooth running of client projects and business and responsible for quality of service, on-time and on-budget completion of deliverables. Key responsibilities include client management, scoping and briefing, resource management and project profitability. You work closely with the Commercial Lead and Client Operations Director and advise and partner with Production and Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to set-up projects, oversee delivery across multiple clients and develop production strategy. You champion flawless execution, lead the team and strategically unlock organic growth across your Client portfolio.


Key areas of responsibility





Relationship management;


Responsible for managing the client relationship with a focus on operations and delivery strategy

Drive operating profit by identifying better ways of working

Oversee a team responsible for project delivery and ensure that all project workstreams are well-coordinated, on track, efficiently managed and that the client has a consistent


and high-quality experience


Oversee the on-time delivery of multiple Client projects and ensure the smooth delivery and swift resolution of issues, to maintain client confidence in Hogarth's capabilities to


deliver


For complex projects, act as the primary contact for project delivery, define scope and approach, set and manage expectations and deliverables, structure regular status


meetings and communications with clients and troubleshoot issues as they arise


Work with client brands and agencies to ensure a clear understanding of the production brief, deliverables and timeline for each project and relay those details to other members


of the team as necessary


Collaboration




Develop and maintain high levels of team effectiveness - trust, communication, collaboration, productivity, diversity, engagement, and ensure the team feel personally

Partner with Production and Client Operations Director to develop the production strategy and overall production plan to maximize efficiency and ensure that the plan is


adhered to


Demonstrate strong collaboration skills with internal agency teams and key external partners to ensure quality and adherence to production guidelines for key deliverables

Responsible for guiding the team to ensure adoption and/or utilisation of best practices, tools and systems

Process




Accountable for defining clear objectives and Key Performance Indicators that help the team have clarity on their responsibilities and our expectations of quality

Drive high quality work by leading initiatives from planning through to implementation


Accurately identify types of work and scopes, timing, complexity and define the processes, resources and tools necessary to get things done, and simplify complex



processes


Understand and anticipate client needs, take them into account when framing and making delivery decisions

Bring in-depth understanding of project and client management techniques and process innovation into how we manage our engagements

Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans taking responsibility for solutions and if needed, escalate to the Client Operations Director

Review team structure and resources on an ongoing basis to ensure client is serviced appropriately while maintaining agreed profitability and utilisation

Leverage our on-site, onshore, offshore network to deliver great work in the most efficient and effective way

Lead project retrospectives to identify key learnings and process improvements

Share best practices across all projects and build a global centre of project management excellence that can be accessed by all teams

Focus on continuous improvement to further enhance our processes, workflows, documentation, automation, tools and drive efficiencies for clients

Ensure the highest quality is always delivered to clients

Financials




Work with interdisciplinary teams of Creative, Production, Finance and Technology to define and develop scopes and estimates of projects, goals, deliverables, schedules and


budgets, helping to translate creative concepts into clear sets of deliverables with appropriate staffing


Manage key financial aspects of assigned accounts including development, review, and management of SOW and change orders, estimates, construction of fees, account


reviews, profitability analysis and utilization, working with Finance where appropriate


Oversee the monthly billing and tracking of all assigned production budgets ensuring billing happens seamlessly and on time

Ensure a thorough understanding of the contractual obligations, commercial arrangements and SLAs across assigned projects and ensure specific details are


understood by the broader team


Collaborate and work closely with Client Growth to grow and protect margin and meet agreed targets

Responsible for the profitability of assigned projects and associated resourcing


Proactively seek and identify new organic revenue opportunities across your clients


Requirements




Tobacco experience is preferable and client facing role


Experience within a global production environment, with a strong understanding of marketing and production implementation processes and project management across all



key channels, including social, content, digital, video, AI, primary and post etc


Understanding of how data can drive change in how we approach content creation and elevate the types of conversations and recommendations we have with clients

Solid understanding of production and the creative development process, including content production, technology and quality assurance

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and relationships cross functionally

Strong interpersonal and management skills with the ability to actively influence the direction to meet project objectives across multi-functional resources

An appreciation for how great work gets done and a commitment to ensuring flawless execution and delivery

Proven ability to lead dynamic project teams

Demonstrate an ability to solve problems with the solution that works for all stakeholders without compromising the quality of the deliverables or the project

Must be commercially astute and able to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment

Strong negotiation skills

Expert client relationship skills including presenting to clients, dealing with multiple stakeholders, and ability to think on your feet

Strong written/oral communication skills

Experience working with offshore teams

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, wireframing/workflow tools,online project management/collaboration/ticketing tools eg JIRA, Smartsheet, Trello,
