Job Description

Due to client demand we are seeking a new Client Finance Officer.

Appointee Services Ltd

We provide financial services to vulnerable adults, ensuring that their monies are safeguarded at all times , ensuring that all their liabilities are met and that they are able to achieve their personal financial goals.

Job purpose

The Client Liaison Officer should actively contribute to providing an efficient and effective service to Appointee Services Ltd customers and assist the officers in ensuring the smooth running of the Appointee Services Ltd office on a day-to-day basis.

Roles & responsibilities

The role is primarily, but not limited to, the following activities:

Undertake service visits when necessary Assisting with customer queries and escalating queries as and when appropriate, to cover duty when necessary. To undertake all work for identified key clients of Appointee Services Ltd in a timely and efficient manner, including paying bills, personal monies, appointee forms, letters of authority, budget plans, debt plans, managing standing orders and direct debits, liaising with care agencies and updating relevant software. Completing and checking of financial assessment forms for care contributions To prepare deceased client bundles for Deputy officer To prepare deputy client bundles for Deputy officer To prepare client relinquishment bundles for clients for sign off Assisting with the property service provided by Appointee Services Ltd, including undertaking property visits To report all safeguarding and mental capacity concerns to an appropriate person in a timely and effective way To build and maintain good working relationships with all customers, services, partners and agencies of Appointee Services Ltd, including timely communication To undertake research and development to develop new networking opportunities and identify new customers.

To deliver a customer focused and efficient service in dealing with both new and existing customer queries.

To ensure that customer welfare and safeguarding are assured - taking responsibility to flag and seek input where necessary to ensure vulnerable clients are supported.

To work effectively in a team to support the organizational objectives demonstrating a collegiate and supportive approach.

Admin Objectives

To take effective notes, document and record all information in a timely and efficient manner ensuring that these are accessible and clear for others

To proactively progress work, using initiative to process calls, payments and production of information bundles as required

Technology Objectives

To ensure that all information is accurately updated on systems following required protocols and timeframes

To keep up to date with software and information processing changes required for the role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 14.00 per hour

Experience:

Health and social care: 1 year (required)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chatham ME5 9UD
