About the role:

As part of our extremely successful Life Sciences Team, you will be working for a dedicated key client as an Internal Client Event Manager. You will be responsible for the development, management and execution of a programme of Life Science standalone events with a focus on Tier One congresses through a dedicated meeting and events delivery team.

You will be the primary stakeholder contact responsible for working directly with the Therapy Leads/Region/Business Function on their full event programme, responsible for maintaining a calendar of appointments, meetings, and events.

As an Internal Client Event Manager, you will:

  • Offering strategic oversight of the account offering M&E guidance to Stakeholders
  • Maintain the highest level of quality, professionalism and integrity when negotiating with suppliers and dealing with clients and colleagues
  • Acting in the role as a facilitator for all components of a project, coordinating all meetings, overseeing slide decks and presentations
  • Effectively manage issue resolution and escalation both with BCD colleagues and client stakeholders to find mutually beneficial solutions
  • Budgets creation, approval and management, ensuring purchase orders and work orders are obtained, overseeing team to deliver to budget with full reconciliation
  • Engage and supervise external partners / suppliers as needed to provide logistics, creative, booth building a technical production support on designated projects
  • Oversee the creation and testing of registration websites and email communications in the clients meeting management platform
  • Driving external discussions with Medical Associations regarding sponsorship, negotiating sponsorship packages, overseeing from contract though to delivery
  • Reviewing and approving Housing proposals, overseeing contract terms, viewing with client Legal team to approval
You\xe2\x80\x99re good at:
  • Demonstrate excellence in providing customer service and establishing effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external high-level key stakeholders
  • Significant Pharma/Healthcare experience, to include complex congress end to end organisation
  • Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical regulation & TOV reporting
  • Full event management experience in UK and Overseas as well as experience of hybrid and live onsite congress delivery
  • Event technology knowledge, i.e. Cvent or similar
  • Outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate excellence in managing multiple, simultaneous, complex projects
You might also have:
  • Experience in working in house for a pharmaceutical company
  • Relevant education or work experience to engage with senior high-level stakeholders
  • Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in a range of virtual meeting platforms

You should know:
  • This is a UK remote role that requires attendance to the clients office when needed
  • Our standard working hours are 9:00am \xe2\x80\x93 5:30pm with an hour break
  • You must have the ability and want to travel in the UK and Overseas
