Client Manager - Accountancy Practice

Bolton

We're working with a modern, forward-thinking accountancy firm based in Bolton who are looking to appoint an ambitious Client Manager to support their growing client base and lead a small team. The firm has built a reputation for delivering proactive business growth advice and has attracted a portfolio of entrepreneurial clients as a result.

What you'll be doing:

Managing your own portfolio of clients across a range of sectors (turnover up to 60m)

Preparing statutory and management accounts

Offering tailored business growth advice

Reviewing VAT, personal and corporate tax returns

Supporting, training and motivating junior members of the team

What we're looking for:

ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 6 months post-qualification experience

A minimum of 5 years' experience within accountancy practice

Comfortable managing a client portfolio and reviewing work from junior staff

Confident communicator with a strong client-service approach

Proficient with Xero, Sage and strong Excel skills
