ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The role of our Client Manager - Finance Director (FD) is to
deliver exceptional FD advisory services to your own portfolio of client
s. Working with clients is your thing and you get a kick out of hosting impactful outcome based meetings that make a real difference to our clients businesses.
You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that the production of accounts, compliance and delivery of deadlines are met. As well as ensuring that you deliver advisory services, reports and information that are forward looking and help our clients make the right financial decisions for their business.
Through your work with clients, you will deliver a high level of service, be focussed on fostering deep, long lasting relationships and always looking to add value. You will naturally generate significant new business opportunities given the close relationships, regular contact, and insights this role fosters with clients. As such, the role will ensure that growth opportunities are identified and live prospects are managed through to the Onboarding process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client FD Delivery -
Providing quality advisory services to clients enabling them to achieve their business objectives with access to the right financial insights. Lead and facilitate meetings with clients that have alignment with their financial goals, advice through the accurate analysis and interpretation provide advice and guidance.
FD Service -
Production and delivery of timely Management Information including, cashflow forecasting, management reports, budget preparation and maintenance, budget variance reporting and 3-way financial forecasting.
Accounts Production -
Accurate and timely deliver of year end accounts which include, business and personal taxation reviews, accounts preparation, CT preparation, submission of all statutory accounts, processing confirmation statements.
Tax Planning -
Delivering effective tax planning by producing and presenting corporation and personal tax positions, recognising opportunities for tax mitigation, advise on how tax should be managed / paid, advising on share structures where required, utilising appropriate tax banding for clients and recognising where specialist tax advice is required.
Finance Function -
Oversight, by working with colleagues, or delivery of, bank recs, posting to nominal codes and journals, basic VAT treatment, CIS processing etc.
MI Production -
Producing and delivering comprehensive Numbers Reports for clients, including month end production, VAT returns and CIS requirements.
ABOUT YOU
KEY SKILLS
AAT Level 4 minimum
ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualification or equivalent QBE
Experience of working in Accounting Practice at a similar level
The ability to form strong client relationships
Proven experience of creating financial strategy to support business goals and the delivery of this
Strong communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of Xero and/or the ability to adapt to use latest software technologies
MS Office or G Suite
High attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to generate, analyse and interpret financial reports and explain these to others in terms they understand
Ability to mentor others, guide business leaders and influence decisions.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Knowledge of Taxcalc or similar Accounting software
People skills
