On Behalf of Arup, we are looking for a

Client Services Analyst

for a

12 Month

contract based in

London

.

Our London office is the firm's largest location, supporting nearly 3,000 staff. With the recent reduction in local Client Services capacity, we require a highly capable and confident on-site IT support professional. This is a hands-on technical role providing end-user support in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

You will act as the primary on-site IT contact, partnering closely with senior leadership, engineers, and business teams. While a remote support team is available, the scale and complexity of the London office require a dedicated local presence to maintain service quality.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide in-person desktop and laptop support to users across the London office. Deliver high-quality, customer-focused support as the

sole on-site IT representative

. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and mobile device issues. Build, configure, and deploy Windows laptops using

Autopilot

. Provide support and training to users on Microsoft 365, Teams, and other business applications. Assist with engineering and specialist applications (e.g., AutoCAD). Perform basic server room tasks, including patching, monitoring, and routine maintenance (3rd line teams manage server administration). Manage ServiceNow tickets and maintain accurate records of work completed. Support wireless and network troubleshooting. Deliver proactive floor-walking, resolving walk-up queries quickly and effectively. Confidently engage and support senior leadership and high-demand users. Participate in occasional out-of-hours work on an overtime basis.

Required Skills & Experience:



Proven experience in

desktop support

,

IT support

, or

client services

in a hands-on environment. Strong hardware knowledge, including building or configuring PCs/laptops. Proficiency with Windows OS, drivers, and general troubleshooting. Experience using

ServiceNow

or similar ITSM platforms. Working knowledge of: Microsoft 365 and Teams Autopilot deployment General networking and wireless troubleshooting Engineering applications (AutoCAD) - desirable Basic understanding of server room environments (patching, racking, cabling, monitoring). Excellent communication skills with the confidence to support senior stakeholders. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong customer service mindset; proactive, dedicated, and reliable. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
