About you:
Whilst you need not have prior experience in our industry, an enthusiasm for fine jewellery and luxury watch products is highly advantageous along with a passion for delivering high-end customer service. Purchasing a precious piece from Laings is only the first stage of its journey. Our customers are provided with the best service over the lifetime of each piece, ensuring its longevity and that it remains exquisite. As a member of our broader Services team, you will develop invaluable knowledge on how to take care of our client's treasured pieces and how best to assist them further by upholding the Laings philosophy to aftercare. Our Glasgow based, In-store Luxury Service Consultants assist us 5 days out of 7, across 37.5 hours per week.
What awaits you?
Provide an exemplary and personal level of customer service to all clients.
Contribute to increasing the awareness of our Service Department and our business, to engage with new clients and provide existing clients with a deeper understanding of our luxury service process.
Champion and communicate the time-honoured skills of the workshops - including jewellery design, goldsmithing and watchmaking - within the business and showcase company assets.
Deliver on customer resolutions and management of a range of customer enquiries and requests relating to repairs and our product services.
Expertly advise colleagues and customers on the care of stones and watches.
Accurately administer our repairs process via our Encore system.
Attributes and Experience
A results-oriented customer service provider with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support to our clients.
Understands client expectations and has excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Enthusiasm to build on knowledge of luxury watch and jewellery brands.
Well organised, being able to plan daily tasks and show flexibility with ad hoc requests.
Empathy and listening skills are essential along with a "can do" attitude.
Able to form meaningful connections with clients, while being sensitive to their jewellery and watch pieces that often hold emotional significance.
