We're at an exciting stage of growth and are looking for a Client Services & Growth Manager - a confident, commercially-minded relationship builder with strong SEO and digital marketing knowledge. This is a senior, hybrid role that brings together client services, business development, and team leadership - ideal for someone who thrives on variety and impact.
Role Purpose
To lead client relationships, drive new business growth, and guide a talented team to deliver outstanding results. You'll act as the bridge between clients and our technical SEO team - translating complex digital concepts into clear, actionable strategies that make sense to real-world business owners.
This role is both strategic and hands-on: you'll be managing client portfolios, supporting business development, and mentoring the team that delivers the work.
Key Responsibilities
Client Services & Relationship Management
Be the primary contact for a portfolio of clients - from onboarding through to results delivery. You would be working with a member of the SEO team on delivery of the results, with you being the primary contact for the portfolio of clients.
Build long-term, trust-based relationships and ensure clients feel supported, understood, and guided.
Translate technical SEO and digital marketing activity into plain, relatable language.
Review campaign performance, identify insights, and communicate results clearly and confidently.
Anticipate challenges and proactively manage expectations.
Oversee the quality and accuracy of all client-facing deliverables before they go out.
Manage escalations calmly, ensuring timely resolution with the team and leadership where needed.
Ensure all onboarding, reporting, and communication follow BrisTechTonic's internal processes.
Business Development & Growth
Seek and secure new business opportunities through networking, inbound leads, and partnerships.
Lead on new client proposals, scoping sessions, and pitch presentations.
Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and long-term client growth.
Work with the Founder and COO to refine the agency's growth strategy and service positioning.
Contribute to revenue forecasting and sales reporting.
Support refinement of packages, pricing, and services based on client feedback and market trends.
Maintain accurate CRM notes, pipeline stages, and sales activity.
Team Leadership & Line Management
Lead and develop a team of 4 (2 Marketing Executives, 2 Senior Marketing Executives).
Provide clear direction, feedback, and professional development support.
Champion high standards of communication, project delivery, and client care.
Support resource planning and workload management across the team.
Facilitate weekly workflow check-ins or stand-ups to keep delivery on track.
Monitor team output for consistency, accuracy, and alignment with SEO strategy.
Act as the escalation point for team or client challenges before involving senior leadership.
Operational & Strategic Collaboration
Collaborate with the leadership team on process improvement, service evolution, and quality control.
Feed into BrisTechTonic's internal marketing activity where relevant (thought leadership, events, PR).
Represent the agency externally - embodying our tone, values, and reputation for expertise and integrity.
Success Measures
Client satisfaction, retention, and NPS.
Revenue growth from new business and upsells.
Strong team engagement, development, and delivery quality.
Efficient client service processes and reduced leadership intervention.
Personal contribution to BrisTechTonic's brand visibility and growth.
Skills & Experience
5+ years' experience in a client-facing digital agency role (SEO, PPC, or digital strategy).
Solid understanding of SEO and digital marketing fundamentals - able to confidently explain strategy and performance.
Proven track record in client relationship management and new business development.
Experience leading and developing small teams.
Commercial acumen - able to forecast, scope, and manage account profitability.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
Highly organised, confident under pressure, and naturally proactive.
Comfortable interpreting SEO strategy, technical fundamentals, and reporting metrics.
Confident using project management tools, dashboards, and CRMs.

Package & Benefits
Salary:
45,000-52,000 DOE + performance-based bonus (linked to client retention, upsells, and new business).
Contract:
Full-time, 12 months fixed contract.
