FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Client Services Manager to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 12 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London.
We are seeking a Client Services Manager to work within the Client Operations - Derivatives Clearing Client Service Group and the role will involve extensive contact with clients, colleagues in Operations, Prime Brokerage and the the organisation's global sales force. The group's primary responsibility is to ensure that the client's Listed Derivatives and OTC Clearing settlement figures are accurate each day and answer all client queries promptly. This entails the resolution of all trade breaks, the monitoring of all cash activity in the account and ensuring that the account is fully margined.
Responsibilities:
Single point of contact for daily client queries, navigating the organization for our clients
Risk management of margins, expiries & market events
Client service reviews and meetings, sending call reports, client metrics and trend analysis
Increase availability of client self-service tools
Get it right for clients first time
Maintain a client feedback process
Identify and automate manual processes, thus reducing firm risk
Review and improve client STP rates
Implement the Enhanced Supervisory framework
Increase fraud awareness
Provide clients with clearing solutions, training and live demos
Handling various administrative duties
Selected Transactions:
Providing Client Service coverage to our client base for both Listed and OTC Cleared products.
Acting as the first point of contact for all day-to-day client issues, including; coordinating margin cash moves, FX processing and facilitating the expiry process.
Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Conducting regular client service reviews and performing root cause analysis of metrics for the client.
Escalating exceptions and understanding of the team's key risks and controls and the importance of client confidentiality
Understanding and applying the various regulatory requirements of Exchanges, CCP's, and Competent bodies- EMIR Article 39, CASS, etc.
Ability to calculate and adjust commission, fees and P&L figures for clients
Developing and rollout of new MS client technology
About You
-------------
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Listed Derivatives or OTC Clearing preferred
Strong client services experience in Derivatives Clearing
Must be adaptable to change, as some days will require you to work on many various jobs at once
Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
Excellent stakeholder management- emphasis on being a relationship manager and providing superior service to the client base
Strong communication skills
