THE ROLE





Client Success Specialist (UK Payroll) - Aberdeen





Purpose of the role/key responsibilities:
Act as a primary point of contact for UK payroll clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.

Review, validation and management of payroll data between all stakeholders (clients, offshore & onshore teams) ensuring timely and accurate payroll runs.

Address and resolve all client queries or complaints in a timely manner

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their payroll needs and offering tailored solutions

Identify main points to discuss with colleagues and clients, and offer practical solutions

Host or attend client meetings on a monthly/quarterly basis to develop and strengthen client relations and gain exposure to client interactions

Track key client success metrics such as accuracy, timeliness, and client feedback

Identify process improvements and recommend best practices to enhance payroll efficiencies

Undertake a key role in each assignment, expand knowledge, with responsibility for work processes from planning, performing work through to completion, with limited guidance

Demonstrate the ability to take instruction and deliver specific pieces of work to colleagues for quality review

Apply financial discipline regarding costs and deliver operational efficiency regarding time

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the services offered by your department and the wider firm, and identify areas where the firm could assist clients

Understand professional ethics and the firm's methods and standards of work and the impact on our role as trusted business advisors

Contribute to our marketing campaigns, including social media

If applicable, undertake professional training and/or work towards a professional qualification, achieving first time passes in any tests or exams Maintain regular communication and build strong working relationships with the offshore payroll processing teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll Address any issues or discrepancies in payroll data, providing clarification and support where possible, or escalating to the appropriate onshore management when necessary



Experience and skill set required for the role:
Strong understanding of UK Payroll Legislation and Pension Schemes

Experience of working to tight deadlines

Experience of handling a client portfolio with strong client engagement

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with client-centric approach

Ability to troubleshoot payroll escalations and provide clear and effective solutions

Experience working in a payroll bureau
