Job Description

the Cleint Support Executive is a key member of our commercial team, ensuring that our sales engine runs smoothly and efficiently. Acting as the central point of contact for clients, this role plays a crucial part in tracking opportunities, providing timely updates, and supporting the team to drive growth.

You will help maintain strong relationships with clients by keeping them informed, coordinating internal resources, and ensuring that every project and opportunity progresses seamlessly. Your work will directly support the leadership team, giving them clear visibility into sales performance and customer activity, enabling smarter decision-making and stronger business outcomes.

This is a hybrid role, ideal for someone highly organised, detail-oriented, and motivated by helping both clients and colleagues succeed.

Key Responsibilities:



Customer Support & Service



Respond promptly, professionally, and courteously to client enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms. Provide accurate, timely updates to clients throughout their engagement with R-TECH. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and projects are delivered on schedule. Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential client issues before they escalate.

Sales & Opportunity Tracking



Maintain detailed, up-to-date CRM records for all leads, opportunities, and client interactions. Track opportunities through the sales pipeline, flagging delays or risks to the commercial team. Prepare and update reports, dashboards, and summaries to support sales meetings and business reviews.

Reporting & Dashboards



Create and manage dashboards to provide leadership with clear visibility of sales performance, pipeline status, and client activity. Produce insightful reports highlighting trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Analyse data to support better decision-making and continuous improvement in customer service and sales processes.

Process & Team Support



Assist in preparing presentations, review materials, and pipeline summaries for the leadership team. Identify recurring issues in workflows or processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction. Provide support to colleagues across departments to ensure a seamless, high-quality client experience.

Essential Skills & Experience



Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative roles. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, client-focused manner. Confident user of IT systems, including CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reporting, client communications, and record-keeping. Proactive, professional, and motivated to support both clients and the wider team.

Desirable



Experience in a technical, laboratory, or engineering services environment. Familiarity with reporting tools and dashboard creation. Knowledge of customer service best practices, including complaint handling and resolution.
