Gracemount Medical Group is looking for a proactive and detail-driven

Clinical Administrator & Medicines Co-ordinator

to support our modern, progressive GP practice.

About the Role



This is a key role within the practice, ensuring high-quality medicines management, efficient workflows and accurate clinical data. You will work closely with GPs, pharmacists, administrative colleagues and the senior management team to improve systems, support patient safety and help drive ongoing service improvement.

What You'll Do



In this varied and meaningful role, you will:

Coordinate medicines management

, liaising closely with pharmacy teams, GPs and the admin team.

Lead on improving repeat prescribing and prescription workflows

, ensuring they are safe, clear and efficient.

Streamline clinical workflows

-- processing letters, results and tasks swiftly, accurately and consistently.

Code and summarise clinical information

to support safe clinical decision-making and high-quality care.

Collaborate with senior management

to design, refine and implement practice pathways that reduce friction and improve patient access.

Support digital transformation

, helping the team make best use of EMIS, Vision and digital tools/templates.

Assist with audits, reporting and data quality improvement projects

, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Provide occasional reception support

, helping maintain a welcoming and professional patient experience.

What We're Looking For



Essential



Experience working in a GP practice and prior involvement in co-ordinating and optimising medicines management Strong understanding of GP workflow processes, including coding & clinical searches Confident user of

EMIS PCS

and

Vision

clinical systems. Excellent digital literacy, analytical skills and problem-solving ability. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. A proactive, improvement-focused mindset -- comfortable with change and modernisation. Strong communication and teamworking skills.

Desirable (training can be provided)



Experience with Docman or other document workflow systems. Understanding of prescribing safety protocols and repeat medication processes. Experience supporting audits, service redesign or quality improvement. Interest in digital health, pathway redesign or health informatics.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.00-14.33 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
