Capacity to work collaboratively with specialist nurses, allied health professionals, occupational health teams, and external agencies. Analytical and Judgemental Skills A medical degree A medical degree with Foundation training or equivalent Ability to interpret and integrate complex clinical, radiological, and occupational exposure data relevant to interstitial lung disease and occupational lung disorders.
Demonstrated experience in making timely, evidence-based clinical decisions, recognising diagnostic uncertainty, and balancing risks. Experience in critically appraising research evidence and applying it to clinical practice. Existing experience in assessing and discussing differential diagnoses for diffuse parenchymal lung diseases. Planning and Organising Skills Organisational ability to prioritise and manage a demanding clinical and research workload across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Experience in planning and conducting audits or research projects, including coordinating with research governance teams. Proven ability to schedule and coordinate investigations, multidisciplinary meetings, and follow-up care for patients with complex respiratory conditions. *Time management skills to balance clinical duties with research commitments.
