PART-TIME SHIFTS- MAINLY EVENINGS 3-8PM /WEEKENDS 9-5PM (16/ + hours per week) x1 MORNING SHIFT 9-2PM

An exciting opportunity to join our team (Mon -Sun) We are looking for very special individual to take on the role of front of house clinical assistant and chaperone in our fertility / pregnancy clinic. This role provides the vital link between the clinician (sonographer) and the client(s) to ensure that their experience is optimised and the relationship with the client is fully developed. The front of house clinical assistant provides the first point of contact for clients attending the clinic and provides professional, support to the clinician as well as professional and emotional support for clients and the families/friends. No technical experience is required. Phlebotomy training as well as other Face to Face & online training will be provided. This is a Part Time role that will involve ,weekend, evenings and some daytime work. To work in close partnership with the sonographer and a small team of staff ensuring that the client receives the correct medical information in a relaxed, non-threatening and informative way. Selling - To look for and capture upsell opportunities throughout the client's visit including additional scans, upgrades and extra merchandise sales. Handling difficult situations. To deal with clients with compassion and sympathy as the primary objective. To ensure that the client is 'nursed' through the process of communicating with the sonographer. To ensure that relevant paperwork is completed thoroughly. Hygiene and comfort - To clean down the key equipment at the end of each day and to generally ensure that the clinic is always clean and tidy. Administration - To handle basic administration tasks to a high standard. To be reasonably computer literate. Other duties - To be prepared to take on other duties and responsibilities within the clinic as required, including reception, marketing and administration. Applicants must be fully flexible and available to work weekends and evenings. Due to the location and shift times, own transport would be advantageous.

Responsibilities and Duties



To build rapport and a strong relationship with the client and their family, ensuring that their experience is smooth, enjoyable, informative and relaxing.

To support the clinician/sonographer throughout the appointment process allowing them to concentrate on the technical aspects of the service.

To work in close partnership with the clinician/sonographer ensuring that the client receives the correct information in a relaxed, non-threatening and informative way.

To deal with clients with compassion and empathy.

To act in a professional manner always reflecting the ethos and values of Expectancy Scanning Studios Ltd.

To present with a professional appearance and wear uniform as supplied by Expectancy Scanning Studios Ltd in a presentable fashion.

To familiarise with clinic policies and procedures and updates to such when /where necessary.

.To carry out phlebotomy procedures when necessary.

Awareness of adult & child safeguarding and informed consent in all aspects of client and family contact and to report concerns to registered manager in the first instance.

To ensure that relevant clinic paperwork is completed thoroughly. Scan documentation to IT systems and ensure strict attention to governance and data protection policies are followed.

To ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the studio throughout the clinic sessions and at the end of each clinical day and to generally ensure that the studio meets exemplary cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.

Adhere to clinic daily/weekly/monthly checklists.

Participate in monthly stock and audit checks and responsibility for highlighting stock ordering and requirements.

To handle administration tasks to a high standard. Ensure daily takings are handled and recorded appropriately.

Experience:



Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)

Pay: 12.50 per hour
