About Abra & Co.

Abra & Co. is the modern, authentic optician. We're known for personalised care, high standards, and an experience that makes patients feel genuinely looked after.

A great clinic day doesn't happen by luck -- it happens because someone is owning the diary, following up, filling gaps fast, and keeping everything moving.

That's this role.

The Role

We're hiring a

Clinical Coordinator

to help keep

all practice diaries full

across the group. A lot of the role is

phone-based

, and it's perfect for someone who's confident speaking to people, organised, proactive, and loves getting things "done properly."

You'll work closely with practice managers and the wider team to make sure we're making the most of every clinic session -- while supporting practices with day-to-day needs.

What you'll do1 - Diary ownership (your core mission)

Keep clinics full across all practices (daily and weekly focus) Call patients to

book, confirm, rebook and fill cancellations

Follow up enquiries/leads quickly and professionally Run recall activity (due eye tests, overdue patients, aftercare follow-ups) Spot diary gaps early and take action without being asked

2) Practice support

Support practice teams with whatever helps clinics run smoother
(patient queries, appointment logistics, message handling, chasing info, etc.)

Communicate clearly with practice managers so priorities stay sharp Keep booking notes accurate and tidy in the system

3) Protect the Abra & Co experience

Speak to patients with warmth, clarity, and confidence Handle issues calmly and escalate appropriately when needed Keep standards high even when it's busy

Who this is for

You'll thrive if you are:

Strong on the phone

(confident, friendly, and able to guide conversations)

Organised and proactive

(you don't wait to be told)

Detail-driven

(appointments, notes, timings -- you get it right)

Calm under pressure

(you can juggle multiple sites without stress)

Supportive

(you like helping teams win)

Useful experience (not essential):

bookings/diary management, reception, healthcare coordination, call centre/customer service, admin operations. If you're sharp, we can train the rest.

Hours & flexibility

Full-time:

Monday-Friday,

9am-5pm

Part-time:

We're flexible on hours, but it will be

mainly Monday-Friday

(If you're applying part-time, tell us what pattern you'd ideally want.)

What you'll get

Autonomy + trust

: you'll own outcomes, not just tasks

Training + support

: you'll be set up properly and coached on what "great" looks like

A healthy culture

: high standards, good energy, supportive people

Room to grow

: opportunities to develop into senior coordination/operations roles Work that genuinely matters: full diaries = more patients helped + a stronger team
