Introduction:

Recruit by Nature are recruiting for an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join a well-established, purpose-built nursing service supporting adults with physical disabilities and complex healthcare needs. This is a senior clinical leadership role, working closely with the Registered Manager to ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered in a safe, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day clinical coordination and leadership of the service. Lead, supervise, and support nursing and care teams to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legislative, and clinical governance requirements. Provide strong clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship across the nursing team. Oversee infection prevention and control processes, including audits and implementation. Liaise with external healthcare professionals, including GPs and community services. Support recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and appraisal of staff. Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture focused on dignity, independence, and wellbeing. Deputise for the Registered Manager when required, escalating concerns appropriately.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN. Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse. Experience supporting adults with physical disabilities and complex care needs. Strong understanding of person-centred care and clinical best practice. Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to inspire, support, and develop multidisciplinary teams.

Pay & Benefits:

Salary of 41,190 per annum. 35 hours per week (including a clinical nursing presence on the floor). 35 days annual leave. NMC registration paid and full support with revalidation.
