We're offering three full-time Clinical Fellow posts in our Inpatient Services at Lynfield Mount Hospital, Bradford, for a fixed term of 6 to 12 months, with rotations every 6 months. You'll be part of a vibrant teaching culture, with access to dedicated clinical and educational supervision, 10 days of study leave annually, and full support for GMC revalidation.



You'll work across our Inpatient wards, supporting adult male patients with complex and acute mental health needs. This is a chance to make a real difference - delivering recovery-focused care as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes consultants, nurses, OTs, and support workers.

Medical review of patients on the ward Attending PIPA meetings Attending multidisciplinary case review meetings whenever they are arranged. Attending weekly team meeting/leadership meetings. Attending management and academic meetings: - Wednesday afternoon balint group for resident doctors, inhouse teaching Ward operational meetings Advice to GP's/Liaison Teams/Hospitals (occasional hospital attendance may be required). Preparing reports and attending mental health tribunals for patients detained under sections of the Mental Health Act. Reviewing and preparing reports for patients subject to Sec 37/41 of the Mental Health Act 1983. Assisting trust sponsored research projects. Giving clinical advice to team members as and when needed. First on-call resident doctor on site - Responsibility for assessment of emergencies, including assessment under the Mental Health Act 1983. To be agreed at interview. To provide cover to colleagues on a mutually agreed basis.
