We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our scientific team. The successful candidate will support research and quality control activities within our laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities
Conduct a variety of laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
Assist in the preparation of samples, reagents, and solutions required for experiments and testing procedures.
Maintain accurate records of all experiments, observations, and results using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and cleaned regularly to guarantee optimal performance.
Support compliance with FDA regulations and other relevant industry standards during all laboratory activities.
Analyse data collected from experiments to identify trends, anomalies, or areas requiring further investigation.
Assist in the development and optimisation of testing methods to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Follow safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements or new research initiatives.
Skills
Proven experience in scientific research or laboratory settings, with a strong understanding of laboratory techniques.
Knowledge of quality control processes within a regulated environment such as the FDA framework.
Proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets accurately.
Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
Solid understanding of relevant regulations, including FDA guidelines, to ensure compliance during testing procedures.
Competence in mathematical calculations necessary for analysis and reporting purposes.
