Seaview House Private Nursing Home

is a 22-bed independent nursing home overlooking Ballyholme Bay, Co. Down.

We are currently looking for a clinical-lead to join our small, friendly team.

Role & Responsibilities

Provide effective professional leadership on all issues relating to clinical excellence including clinical training- completing competency and capability training and provide preceptorship & mentorship support where required. Have a good knowledge of RQIA and Care Home regulations and ensure that continued RQIA compliance is maintained. To be part of the SMT on-call rota and to Deputize for the Home Manager during any periods of absence to assist with clinically related matters, rota cover and any other duties arising. To complete floor shifts in order to meet the needs of the Home Effectively manage your own workload, prioritizing tasks and maintaining excellent written and verbal communication and record keeping. Maintain knowledge of the residents' care plans ensuring they reflect the current health and support needs of the residents at any given time.

Experience

RN (RGN) with an active PIN 5 years post registration in a clinical environment Two years post registration experience in a care home environment Strong clinical skillset and confidence to lead a diverse and highly qualified nursing team. Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Office. The ability to drive change and promote positive working relationships with key stakeholders and staff. Good working knowledge of audits, safeguarding, DOLS, RQIA compliance and care home standards A live driving license and access to a vehicle during working hours.
