Clinical Lead
to join our dedicated team in a mental health and nursing care home, where your leadership will directly impact the quality of life for our residents.
Job Summary
The Clinical Lead Nurse plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care while overseeing nursing staff and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols. This position requires a dedicated professional with extensive knowledge of anatomy and medication administration, who can effectively lead a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Clinical Lead Nurse will be responsible for coordinating patient care, mentoring junior nurses, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support care staff to deliver person-centred care.
Monitor and maintain high standards of clinical care and compliance.
Advocate for residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
Develop and lead care pathways tailored to individual needs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
Innovate service delivery, especially for residents with dementia.
Prepare staff rotas and oversee safe systems of work.
Act as a key contact for residents, families, and professionals.
Support the Home Manager in operational and marketing activities.
Ensure compliance with CQC, safeguarding, DOLS, and audit standards.
What We're Looking For:
Registered Nurse (RMN or RGN)
with a valid NMC PIN.
3-4 years' experience
in a senior nursing or clinical lead role.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Friendly, patient-focused, and computer-literate.
Experience in a nursing home setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and clinical governance.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices in nursing care.
