Clinical Lead - Nursing Home
MAIN PURPOSE
To promote, monitor and maintain the highest standard of care and nursing provision.
To supervise the performance of staff in the clinical area
To promote the good reputation of the Home
Prepare and monitor residents care plans; supervise and participate in the delivery of all aspects nursing care across home.
To appropriately assess quality and risk to residents and environment within the homes.
To provide guidance and clinical expertise to residents and staff
Manage, prioritise, deliver and co-ordinate nursing tasks, effectively across the home.
Communicate and maintain relationships with staff, residents, families and multi-disciplinary services such as Tissue Viability, CPN's and district nursing teams.
REQUIREMENTS
To be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council
Must have knowledge and understanding of the aging process
Must be competent and confident to care plan and risk manage effectively
Must commitment to The Company's Equal Opportunities policy

Must show effective leadership and time management.

Be flexible and attentive, showing true kindness and compassion for the people we support.MAIN DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
To carry out individual care as per resident's care plans.
To assess, implement & evaluate residents care plans and risk management assessment
To promote confidentiality.
To establish and maintain good relationships between residents, relatives and staff.
To appropriately identify and prioritise clinical input required across the service. ????
To communicate effectively with care team and management.
Administer, order and clerk in medications as per the Company Policy, NMC and Health Authority guidelines.
To undertake direct nursing care as necessary.
To adhere to the Company's policies and procedures and to ensure care team are fully conversant with them.
To allocate duties and tasks to Senior Care Staff.
To participate in quality assurance for the home as directed by the Home Manager.
To assist with training of all staff in the clinical area.
To carry out other duties, from time to time, as directed.TRAINING
You will be required to attend all mandatory and statutory training.
You will be required to keep good clinical knowledge and development in line with practice to support your role.
SUPERVISION & PERSONALDEVELOPMENT PLANS?????
You will be required to participate in regular supervision and appraisal.
You will also be required to participate in personal development planning as agreed with line manager
