Clinical Lead Nurse (RN)

We are looking to recruit a Clinical Lead Nurse:

To provide day to day support to the Home Manager for all clinical management issues. To take the lead on care planning and medication management. Ensuring a high standard of care is delivered, in a safe and homely environment, following the Home's policies and procedures and CQC guidelines.

Rota basis

Sunday through Saturday

36 hours per week

Rate of pay is 21.00 to 22.00 per hour plus a PRP bonus paid of up to a further 1.00 per hour.

Responsibilities to include the following:

Follow instructions as requested by the Home Manager and ensure the Home Manager is notified of any issues that require their attention as soon as possible. Ensure that information collected during the performance of duties is kept confidential. Keep all residents' records secure in locked nurse stations and lockable cabinets so that confidentiality is maintained at all times. Maintain secure access to PCS electronic care plans. Ensure the economical use of the Home's resources, minimising wastage by all staff. Ensure that the good name of the Home is upheld at all times. Treat all residents and visitors to the Home with respect. Liaise with visitors and external agencies in a professional manner. Maintain high standards of accommodation so that the Home is presentable, tidy and clean at all times. Handle any initial complaints immediately and professionally, record them and pass them on to the Home Manager as soon as possible as per the Home's procedures. Report to the Home Manager as a matter of urgency any potential abuse or neglect of residents.

Must have the following:

Proven experience in a nursing home or similar setting. Knowledge of medication administration protocols. A compassionate approach towards patient care.
All positions are subject to an Enhanced DBS and 2 satisfactory references.

Pay: 21.00-22.00 per hour
