Job Summary

We are looking to recruit a passionate and experienced

Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist

to join a dedicated team within a

nursing home setting

, supporting residents with complex and enduring mental health needs. You will be responsible for leading the occupational therapy service, overseeing a team of therapists and assistants, and managing a small clinical caseload.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the occupational therapy service within the nursing home, ensuring high standards of care Supervise and support occupational therapists, assistants, and activity coordinators Complete assessments, design care plans, and deliver tailored therapeutic interventions Promote independence, engagement, and recovery through occupation-focused therapy Ensure consistent delivery and evaluation of therapeutic group and individual programs Provide clinical insight within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to person-centred care planning Use recognised tools such as MOHOST to measure outcomes and support goal setting

What We're Looking For

Qualified Occupational Therapist (BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy) Registered with the

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

Proven leadership experience in a mental health or care home environment Skilled in working with individuals with complex care needs and mental health diagnoses A positive, solution-focused mindset with strong communication and organisational skills
