Clinical Lead - Nursing Home (Clevedon)

Office Based Monday to Friday - 1 day working on the floor

Salary: 40,000 per annum

Hours: 44 hours per week (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm + one 12-hour floor shift weekly)

Location: Clevedon, North Somerset

Referral Bonus: 250 for Nurses / 150 for other roles

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Clinical Lead to join a well-established Nursing Home in Clevedon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and skilled nurse to take a leadership role in a supportive and resident-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and healthcare professionals.

Monitor and maintain high standards of care through direct involvement and observation.

Participate in CQC and North Somerset inspections, ensuring full compliance.

Oversee health and safety, COSHH, and statutory care regulations.

Prepare or delegate staff rotas and conduct staff appraisals.

Lead staff training and induction, including fire safety and safe systems of work.

Maintain and update care plans in response to residents' changing needs.

Support the marketing of the Home and build relationships with external care providers.

Promote dignity, individuality, and emotional support for residents, including end-of-life care.

Requirements:

First Level Nurse qualification with current NMC registration.

Minimum 5 years' experience in care, with relevant post-basic qualifications.

Strong knowledge of safeguarding, DBS procedures, and statutory compliance.

Familiarity with CQC Fundamental Standards and Health & Social Care Act (2008/2014).

Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organisational skills.

Ability to adapt and cover a range of responsibilities.
