We have an opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join their team of staff in the Pre Assessment department.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
Lead and coordinate the daily clinical operations of your department, ensuring appropriate skill mix, safe staffing levels, and effective patient care.
Supervise and support nursing staff, allocating duties based on patient need, competency, and development goals.
Actively manage rotas, annual leave, and study leave to maintain service continuity.
Work alongside the DOCS/CSM to support strategic service development, ensuring efficient delivery of care and positive patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, professional standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CQC, HIS, HIW).
Maintain professional standards in accordance with the NMC Code and clinical best practice guidelines.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
Proven experience in a senior nursing or supervisory leadership role.
Strong understanding of clinical governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication, mentorship, and decision-making skills.
Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
Evidence of continued professional development and competency in advanced nursing practice.
