About the Role



We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Clinical Lead (Registered Nurse)

to join our team. You will support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in leading the nursing and care teams, ensuring high standards of clinical care are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities



Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and ensure high-quality care delivery. Support, supervise, and mentor nursing and care staff in line with best practice and regulatory requirements. Act as a shift leader to oversee care planning and ensure safe staffing levels. Monitor and update care records and documentation to meet CQC/Care Inspectorate Wales standards. Ensure residents' needs, choices and preferences are at the heart of care planning. Support rota management and staff allocation to ensure a skilled workforce is in place. Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge through training and development. Support the Home Manager in audits, inspections, and compliance reviews. Deputise for the Deputy/Home Manager when required.

Requirements



Must be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN. Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience in a similar care home or clinical setting. Previous leadership or senior nurse experience is desirable. Excellent communication, decision-making and organisational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced care environment with a commitment to delivering quality care. Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements (Care Inspectorate Wales, NMC Code of Conduct). Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings when required.
