across the UK. We provide affordable, accessible therapy to a diverse client base, currently serving
around 800 clients weekly

We are now seeking a
Clinical Lead
to provide clinical oversight, safeguarding guidance, and leadership to our growing service.
Role Overview
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and support a large-scale therapy service. You will be the central point for clinical governance, safeguarding, and supervision support across the organisation.
This is a
part-time freelance position
, ideal for an experienced clinician seeking meaningful impact with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level clinical oversight to a service of 200+ placement counsellors
Act as the escalation point for risk, safeguarding, and ethical issues
Support and guide a team of clinical supervisors (approx. 15)
Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and best practices
Attend monthly team meetings
Contribute to quality assurance, incident reviews, and service development
Hours & Pay
25 hours per month
50 per hour
(freelance/self-employed)

About You
We're looking for a grounded and collaborative Clinical Lead who is passionate about ethical therapy and supportive of trainee development.
Essential:
Accredited with BACP, UKCP, or equivalent
Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
Experience supervising or leading teams in a counselling setting
Sound knowledge of safeguarding, clinical governance, and ethical frameworks
Strong communication and leadership skills
Comfortable working independently and remotely
Desirable:
Experience working with placement counsellors or training institutions
Familiarity with remote therapy provision and digital case management
