Job Description

We are looking for a Clinical Lead in our nurse-led care setting to provide leadership and oversight of our nursing care delivery, ensuring our high standards are maintained.

You will be an experienced quality-led and strategic thinker with a proven track record who can build the framework and set the tone for our clinical service delivery and approach, and able to develop and support staff in providing person-centred care in a cohesive way.

You'll bring gravitas and clear presence, grounded in clinical excellence and organisational awareness, with a deep commitment to successfully growing this role .

You will be ready to play a vital role in staff development and ensuring compliance with clinical governance frameworks working closing with local authorities, the Registered Manager and CEO.

You will be comfortably capable to providing leadership to nursing and care staff within the service and ensuring care delivery is following best practice and agreed standards and legislative requirements.

A key part of your role will be to develop and maintain key external relationships, and support the strategic development of the organisation and pick things up for the Registered Manager and/ or CEO as required. This role is ideal for someone who can think systemically, lead relationally, and build with integrity.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

Set up the framework and develop the company's initiatives in nurse-led care working closely with the Registered Manager and CEO. Central to this is forging strategic partnerships, generating new business, expanding opportunities, and creating valuable networks. Hold overall clinical responsibility for the company's clinical work including supporting risk and management. Maintaining effective communication and relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities, healthcare professionals, families, and regulatory bodies. Ensuring compliance with clinical governance frameworks, including participation in audits and quality improvement initiatives. Providing guidance and support to the nursing and care staff, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality care. Lead the monitoring of the delivery of patient care, ensuring it meets established clinical standards and best practices. Managing, supervising and coordinating the activities of the care team, including nurses, care assistants, and other allocated staff. Supporting the development of staff, including nurses and care assistants through structured training programmes and mentorship. Foster a culture that's collaborative, non-hierarchical and caring whilst maintaining the appropriate level of gravitas.

You will be...



A qualified and registered nurse with with 2+ years and experience, and an experienced leader who has held clinical responsibility in a similar setting, or can demonstrate obvious transferability of your skills. You will be strong communicator and team player and need to have held a similar experience in a similar setting such as complex care and/or dementia care. A health practitioner with a thorough understanding of clinical practices, medication management, and care planning. Someone with a track record of developing safe, values-led teams, systems and projects A self-starter with the ability to lead, motivate, and support a team of nursing and care staff. Have a "can do" attitude and comfortable with leading/ adapting to change in a dynamic setting Experienced in supervising others, managing risk and working in the community and its nuances. Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and solve complex clinical problems. A dedication to delivering high-quality care and continuously improving service delivery. Ability to train clinical and non-clinical staff and/or set the appropriate content for staff training in a complex care setting. Respond to and investigate clinical complaints, in line with policy and risk management. Submit clinical reports and updates to CCGs regarding their packages as per contractual agreements.
