Juice Personnel are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a highly regarded, award-winning team in Leeds City Centre.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Claimant Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Legal Executive (2-6 years' PQE) to join a supportive, award-winning team. You will manage a claimant clinical negligence caseload, dealing with matters at all stages, from initial client instructions through to resolution. While your caseload builds, you will also assist other team members with dedicated tasks. All cases are multi-track, with caseload numbers adjusted according to complexity.
The team handles a mix of high-value, complex claims as well as more straightforward matters. Most instructions come via recommendation, reflecting the team's excellent reputation for quality legal services.

The Role

  • Running a caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters
  • Handling cases from client instruction through to archiving, in line with office and accounts procedures
  • Taking client instructions, providing advice, and maintaining excellent client care
  • Instructing counsel and experts where required
  • Representing clients at court (including advocacy where appropriate)
  • Preparing documentation and maintaining accurate files
  • Business development and networking to support growth
  • Stayin up to date with relevant legal knowledge and practice
About You
  • 2-6 years PQE as a solicitor or legal executive in claimant clinical negligence
  • Strong client care skills with the ability to communicate sensitively and clearly
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent oral and written advocacy skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Competent IT skills (Windows, Word, Excel, MS Teams)
  • Knowledge of the Solicitors Code of Conduct
  • APIL Litigator/Senior Litigator accreditation (commensurate with experience) desirable
